Swimrun de Giens ou l’adaptation comme boussole

🇫🇷 Une mer agitée nous oblige à annuler notre tour de l’île de Port Cros. Kevin ne se laisse pas démonter comme la mer et nous voici parti pour presque le tour d’une île .. de Giens. Avec la devise on se met à l’eau quand on peut entrer et surtout lorsque l’on peut sortir !
La presqu’île de Giens défile, dans toute sa splendeur. Un terrain de jeu majestueux aux falaises abruptes, criques secrètes et chemins escarpés, nous emporte dans une communion avec la nature entre terre et mer en fusion
Voilà l’adaptation, la valeur cardinale du swimrun nous a encore bien servi pour faire le tour entier d’une presqu’île magnifique !

🇬🇧 Rough seas force us to cancel our tour around Port Cros Island. Kevin isn’t one to get bogged down though, so here we are heading for an almost complete tour around Giens Island instead. With the motto that you get in the water when you can enter and more importantly when you can exit!
The Giens peninsula rolls by in all its splendor. A majestic playground with steep cliffs, secret coves and perilous paths sweeps us away in a communion with nature where land and sea are fused together.
Once again, adaptability – the cardinal virtue of swimrun – served us well to fully tour this magnificent peninsula! We weren’t about to let the choppy waters get us down and wash out our plans for the day. With some adjusting on the fly, we made the most of the situation and circumnavigated another beautiful island coastline.
